Upcoming Campus Visits

Our DVM college liaison and I continue to engage with veterinary students nationwide, introducing them to opportunities in private practice.

Recently, we hosted a seminar at Ohio State University, where we had a stronger-than-expected turnout, with students from first through fourth year in attendance.

Next week, we’ll be meeting with veterinary students at the University of Missouri and the University of Illinois. In April, we’ll visit the veterinary campuses of the University of Tennessee and Oregon State University to present our seminar on careers in private practice. Additionally, we are in active discussions with other veterinary schools to expand our schedule and anticipate a full year of campus visits ahead.

Our goal in connecting with veterinary students is to create exposure for our clients. Breaking into veterinary schools has become increasingly challenging for private practices, as corporate clinics dominate the space. By meeting students face-to-face, we are introducing them to the diverse opportunities available helping them see that the right career fit may be at an independent practice like yours.
